Since 1987, the League has published a yearly desk calendar for the Wiregrass Community, complete with pertinent football schedules, school breaks and holidays to assist in planning the year for area residents.

This year’s calendar, in all color for the second year has exceeded our expectations once again, under the organization of Ways and Means Chairman and Co-Chairman, Marcella West and Emily Stewart, respectively. Scheduled for release in November 2007, sponsors and residents are sure to be in awe of the product published.

This year’s calendar will be in full-color, full of photographs of league members and the community, and donned with local advertisements compliments of corporate and monthly sponsors. Calendars can be purchased for $12.00 by calling the League office at 334.671.7142.

What better way to start the Christmas season but with the 2007 Holiday Tour of Homes on December 8th and 9th. With seven phenomenal homes decorated to the nine, the League raised almost $10,000 through sponsorships and ticket sales. Thanks to the 60+ volunteers that gave of their time and talents over the two day event. Thanks also to the homeowners and sponsors. The Tour of Homes Committee worked tirelessly to make the success so sweet!
