The Dothan Service League was asked to lend a hand to help Landmark Park prepare for their annual Low-Country Boil. The Boil raises much needed funds for Landmark.

Volunteers included: (L to R) Susie Carroll, Liz Weber, Valerie Thompson, Paige Posey and Heather Brock.

We washed and prepared pots and pans, as well as, cleaning up all the wheel barrels for the park. For more information on Landmark


The annual tour of homes will be December 11th from 10 am until 4 pm. Tickets may be purchased at the Butcher’s Block, Mint Julep, Northcutts, Posh Panoply and Something Special Boutique and Gifts. Click here to view the Map of all the homes

The Wiregrass Children’s Home Festival of Trees was held Thursday, Nov. 12, at 6 p.m. This was the 10th year for the the Festival of Trees. a nonprofit home for abused and neglected children.
There were many decorated Christmas trees ranging from the whimsical to traditional and even themed. Other items featured at the event include holiday items, trips, jewelry, dinners, furniture and accessories.
The Wiregrass Children’s Home is located in Houston County and serves boys and girls up to 18 years of age who have nowhere else to go. It is a Christian home, set up to provide a loving, home-like environment.
The Dothan Service League was excited to be a part of another successful event for the Wiregrass Children’s of Home.
