Dorothy Quick Center at Evergreen Presbyterian Church

It has been forty years since League members first visited with the senior citizens at the Dorothy Quick Center of Evergreen Presbyterian Church. Each Thursday, three League members graciously arrive at the Center armed with snacks and prizes to bestow upon the guests in attendance that day.

After the snacks are prepared and delivered, bingo is the name of the game. With four bingo cards ready and waiting, we can never seem to call enough games to satisfy the “child” in all of our seniors. Although the prizes for winning may change with the seasons, the smiles and laughter heard throughout the room each week are endless and a constant reminder of why we serve.
