Festival of Trees 2010

Dothan Service League members continued one of our newer traditions this year by decorating a tree for the Festival of Trees, which is the largest fundraiser for the Wiregrass Children’s Home.
Our tree was called "Girls Gone Wild" with a red, purple and turquoise peacock theme conjured up by our always colorful Emily Stewart.

Bell ringing for the Salvation Army

On December 1st we rang the bell for the Salvation Army at the Mall. Our time was cut short due to the Army cancelling our evening shifts due to weather/storms in our area. Those that volunteered to ring were Molly Shutters, Melinda Williams, Jennifer Dulaney, Karen Nunnally, Shannon McKnight, Patty Baker, Leeann Morris, Amber Brockett, Holli Closson, Valarie Thompson, Marcella West, Kitty Edwards, Kay Jackson, Samanatha Clark and Linda Overton. Ann Thompson, Auxillary Member, also volunteered to ring with us.
