Southeast Alabama Community Theater

Upon relocation of the League’s office to the Cultural Arts Center in 2004, a natural partnership with the Southeast Alabama Community Theater was born. League members currently serve as greeters and ushers during each week of the theater’s three annual productions.

Dorothy Quick Center at Evergreen Presbyterian Church

It has been forty years since League members first visited with the senior citizens at the Dorothy Quick Center of Evergreen Presbyterian Church. Each Thursday, three League members graciously arrive at the Center armed with snacks and prizes to bestow upon the guests in attendance that day.

Meals on Wheels

Not rain, nor snow, nor sleet, nor hail will stop League members from delivering meals to Wiregrass residents through the Meals on Wheels Program at Wesley Manor. What began in 1975 still continues today, as each Monday, League members gather together to choose their route and catch up with one another before setting out for their deliveries. (Some members even bring special guests along – their children – to brighten the day of our residents.)
